Terms & conditions

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern every order placed on simply.ski (the "Site") with First Track SA, Chemin du Châble-Creux 16, 1934 Le Châble VS, Switzerland, registered in the Swiss commercial register under IDE CHE-313.280.224 ("Simply.", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@simply.ski.

They apply to consumers and businesses buying Simply. products — skis, mounted skis, climbing skins and accessories — for delivery in Switzerland. We currently do not ship outside Switzerland. By placing an order you accept these Terms in the version published on the Site at the time of your order.

2. Products, prices and availability

Product descriptions, measurements, weights and images on the Site are provided with care but are not contractual to the millimetre or gram: skis are made of wood and small variations exist from pair to pair. Colours may vary slightly from screen to screen.

Prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) and include Swiss VAT at 8.1%. Shipping is free on all products unless the checkout says otherwise. We apply one price for all our skis and do not run sales or discounts before, during or after the season; the same prices apply online and in our resellers' stores.

Products are offered while stocks last. If a product or length is out of stock after you have ordered, we will tell you as soon as possible and refund any amount already paid for that product.

3. Ordering and conclusion of the contract

You order as a guest; no customer account is required. The ordering process is: choose the product and its options (length, binding, skins), add it to the cart, enter your delivery and payment details, review your order, and confirm it with the "Pay now" button. Before confirming, you can correct any entry.

Your order is an offer to buy. We send you an e-mail acknowledging receipt. The contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation, or at the latest when we ship the products. We may refuse an order in case of obvious pricing or stock errors, suspected fraud, or an undeliverable address; any amount paid is then refunded.

You must be able to enter into a binding contract under the law of your country of residence. Orders for products that are drilled, mounted or adjusted to the buyer's personal data (clause 6) require that the data you provide are accurate.

4. Payment

Payment is due at the time of the order. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, currently: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal and Klarna. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments or the respective payment provider under their own terms; we do not store your card details. Klarna and other instalment or deferred payment options are offered by the provider under its own contract with you.

Products remain our property until the price has been paid in full (retention of title).

5. Shipping and delivery

We deliver to addresses in Switzerland only. Products are shipped from our workshop in Le Châble by Swiss Post.

Shipping times (indicative, in working days from the order, or for a mounted ski from receipt of your set-up form): skis without bindings and climbing skins, 3 working days; mounted skis, 5 working days. Carrier transit time is added. If a delay of more than 30 days occurs for reasons attributable to us, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you have designated, take physical possession of the products. Please check the parcel on delivery; if it is damaged, note it with the carrier, keep the packaging, take photos and write to us within 48 hours so we can handle the claim with the carrier.

6. Mounted skis — bindings, mounting and set-up

You may order a ski with a binding. The binding is sold only together with a Simply. ski and is drilled, mounted and adjusted by our certified ski technicians before shipping. Mounting is free.

After checkout we e-mail you a set-up form asking for your boot sole length, weight, height, age and skier type. We mount and adjust the binding on the basis of these data, in accordance with the ISO 11088 standard, and we do not ship a mounted ski before receiving the completed form. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide, and you confirm this when you submit the form. If we have not received your form within a reasonable time after reminders, we may ship the ski unmounted or cancel the mounted-ski part of the order and refund the binding.

A mounted ski is drilled and set to your personal specifications. It is therefore a product made to your specifications: it cannot be returned or exchanged (clause 7).

Safety: binding release settings must be checked by a qualified ski technician before first use and at least once a season, in particular if your weight, boots or skiing level change. Every mounted ski we deliver must be checked by a qualified specialist before use. We accept no liability for a binding that has been re-adjusted, re-mounted or modified by anyone other than us, or for a ski used with settings that no longer correspond to the user.

Other bindings than those offered on the Site can be mounted on request; such requests are handled by e-mail, outside the online ordering process, and are confirmed by a separate quote.

7. Returns and exchanges (voluntary return policy)

Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. As a voluntary policy, we accept the return of unmounted products — skis without bindings, climbing skins, beanies and other accessories — within 10 days of delivery, provided they are unused, undrilled, undamaged and returned in their original packaging. Write to us with your order number to receive the return instructions.

Return shipping is at your cost and risk, except when the product is faulty or we delivered the wrong product, in which case we provide a prepaid return label. Once we have received and checked the product, we refund the price to your original payment method within 14 days. Products returned used, damaged or without their packaging may be refused or refunded with a deduction corresponding to the loss in value.

Mounted skis cannot be returned or exchanged. We are happy to check the length with you before you order.

8. Warranty

We warrant our skis against manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date of purchase. This commercial warranty applies in place of the statutory warranty for defects of the Swiss Code of Obligations (articles 197 et seq. CO) to the extent permitted by law.

Covered: manufacturing defects that affect the use of the product — delamination of the topsheet, sidewalls or base without impact, structural defects, inserts or fibres coming loose, and any other defect originating in the way the product was built.

Not covered: normal wear and cosmetic marks (scratched bases, dull edges, topsheet chips, discolouration); damage from impacts with rocks, rails or other hard objects; crashes, abusive or non-intended use; bindings mounted outside the printed mounting mark, outside the reinforced plate, or by a non-professional; modifications we did not recommend; damage caused by incorrect storage, transport or maintenance.

How to claim: write to hello@simply.ski with your proof of purchase, the serial number of the ski (readable with the NFC tag under the mounting point), the binding details and photos of the defect. We inspect the product at our workshop and, at our choice, repair it, replace it with an identical or equivalent product, or, if neither is possible within a reasonable time, refund the price. Warranty exchanges are shipped with a prepaid return label for the defective product.

9. Liability

Skiing is an activity that carries risks of injury, including serious injury or death. Our products do not remove these risks. Use them within your abilities, with appropriate protective equipment, after checking weather and avalanche conditions, and after having your bindings checked by a qualified specialist.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for damage caused by slight negligence is excluded, and our liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, for fraud, or under mandatory product liability law.

10. Intellectual property

The Simply. name, logo, ski shapes and designs, texts, photos and videos on the Site are protected by intellectual property rights belonging to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce or use them without our prior written consent, except for your own private use.

11. Personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the Site.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms and every contract concluded through the Site are governed by Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

The courts of Sion, Switzerland, have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory places of jurisdiction provided by Swiss law for consumers. Before any legal action, the parties undertake to attempt an amicable settlement, where appropriate through a mediation service in the canton of Valais.

13. Final provisions

If a clause of these Terms is invalid, the other clauses remain in force. We may amend these Terms for future orders; the version in force at the time of your order applies to that order. These Terms are drawn up in English; if translations are published, the English version prevails in case of discrepancy.
